Reed Diffusers FAQ
Place the reeds in the vessel so they absorb the diffuser oil, then flip them every few days for a refreshed scent. Position away from direct sunlight or heat sources for longer life.
Most reed diffusers last 2-4 months, depending on oil volume, reed count, and placement. Refills and replacement reeds extend their life indefinitely.
Think of the reeds as little scent straws. The fragrance oil travels up through the porous sticks and releases into the air from the top, giving you a steady, flame-free scent. Flip the reeds now and then for a fresh burst, and swap them out every month or two when they're clogged or the scent isn't as strong.
Reed diffusers are safe to enjoy when they're kept out of reach of kids, pets, and food prep areas. Place them somewhere stable, wipe up any spills quickly, and avoid direct skin contact with the oil. If you have cats or dogs, keep diffusers high up and make sure the room is well-ventilated so everyone stays comfortable.
The reeds or sticks are the wicks - they pull the fragrance up and release it into the air. Diffuser oil is the scented blend made for reed diffusers (not for ultrasonic diffusers). Refills are just a fresh batch of that oil for topping up your favorite vessel, and it's best to pop in new reeds when you refill so the scent stays strong.
