Once a year the storms come to Los Angeles. When the deluge finally arrives at the Estate, the earth heaves a sigh of relief: the birds sing, the winds blow, and the mighty Eucalyptus begin to turn their leaves. This phenomenon occurs before rain because of the increased humidity in the air, which softens the leaves and causes them to turn.
Eucalyptus leaves are a core ingredient in the petrichor candle. Combine their oil with Myrrh, Amber, and Vetiver mimics the scent of the earth after rain. It is a scent that has fascinated people for as long as the rains have been falling.
